Located in the historic Fireblocks District in Dayton, Ohio, the Elks Building is a 5-story brick structure with intricate terra cotta and metal details. Meld worked with The Windsor Companies to convert the former office building into 20 market-rate apartments. The first floor includes space for several commercial tenants and the rooftop penthouse will be converted to a single luxury apartment. The project includes financing from state and federal historic tax credits and is set to open in June of 2020.
